Women’s Wellness: Cycle‑Supportive Evening Unwind
Michelle Dhanoa | MAR 18
A gentle, hormone‑supportive ritual to help your body soften and settle during evening transitions.
This calming ritual supports hormonal balance and emotional steadiness by inviting the body into warmth, grounding, and slow breath. It’s especially helpful during PMS, perimenopause, postpartum seasons, or stressful evenings.
Warm tea or warm water
Soft lighting
3 slow breaths
One supportive phrase
Dim the lights and create a soft, warm environment.
Hold a warm mug between your hands and take three slow breaths.
Whisper a supportive phrase such as “I soften,” “I honor my pace,” or “I am allowed to rest.”
Sit quietly for 1–2 minutes, letting warmth and breath settle your system.
Add a warm compress to your belly or low back.
Pair with gentle shoulder rolls or a hand‑to‑heart hold.
Keep eyes open if closing them feels activating.
If warmth feels overstimulating, switch to room‑temperature water and shorten the practice.
