Women’s Wellness: Hip‑Softening Evening Ritual
Michelle Dhanoa | APR 7
A gentle, hormone‑supportive ritual to ease hip tension and support emotional steadiness.
This soothing ritual supports hormonal balance, pelvic ease, and nervous system regulation by softening the hips—an area that often holds tension during cycle transitions, perimenopause, postpartum seasons, or stress.
Pillow or folded blanket
Comfortable seated posture
Slow, steady breathing
Sit comfortably with a pillow or folded blanket under your hips.
Bring one ankle in front of the other (easy cross‑legged).
Take three slow breaths, letting your exhale soften your hips and belly.
Stay for 1–2 minutes, then switch the cross of your legs and repeat.
Sit with legs extended if cross‑legged feels uncomfortable.
Add a warm compress to your hips or low back.
Pair with a gentle affirmation like “I soften,” “I release,” or “My body is allowed to rest.”
Avoid deep hip opening if it feels unstable or activating. Choose the most supported version.
PMS or cycle transitions
