Women’s Wellness: Warm Belly Hold for Hormonal Ease
Michelle Dhanoa | MAR 26
A soft, warming ritual to support hormonal balance, digestion, and emotional steadiness.
This gentle warmth‑based practice helps soothe the nervous system, relax the belly, and support hormonal rhythms. It’s especially helpful during PMS, perimenopause, postpartum seasons, or stressful evenings.
Warm compress, warm water bottle, or warm hands
Comfortable seated or reclined posture
Slow, steady breathing
Sit or lie comfortably and place warmth on your lower belly.
Take three slow breaths, letting your exhale soften your belly into the warmth.
Stay for 2–5 minutes, noticing any shift in ease, warmth, or grounding.
Whisper a supportive phrase such as “I soften,” “I am supported,” or “My body knows what to do.”
Use a folded blanket if heat feels too intense.
Add gentle belly circles for digestive support.
Keep knees bent if lying down for extra comfort.
Avoid heat if you feel overheated or have skin sensitivity. Choose the gentlest version that feels supportive.
PMS or cycle transitions
Perimenopause or postpartum seasons
Stressful evenings
Before bed or after emotional overwhelm
